I'm not a novelist. You won't find me outlining for three pages, vivid details of the wayward, independent, troublesome button, which flew off the lovely and well-endowed Alice's blouse... then another three pages describing the effects that this rambling, wafting, uninhibited button had on the other unfortunate button-challenged individuals present during the pivotal moment of "release"... I just don't have that kind of stamina.

I write about what I know, and I know what I feel, and what I feel can't be denied. It may be wrong or misguided or challenged by you the reader, but I cannot deny the depths of my feelings. To turn away, to disown, to not look at - and honor - my feelings, would be to die within... and this is what I write about. The dying within through the denial of what you feel. The pain this causes to the depths of your soul and the depths of your body. The illness of a thought that creates pain in your soul and then morphs into the sickness of the body.

And I'll write with humor... or with harshness... or with poignancy... or with passion... but I'll write!
