When I would hit a brick wall, which was often, I would always turn to books. I would go into a book store, find about a half a dozen books that looked good, and open each book randomly to see how the author resonated with me and the current situation. Here's a few of the authors that really helped;
Eckhart Tolle; Wow… he became enlightened in a day. One day. Even more remarkable, he has the ability to relay to us in the trenches how we can achieve that same peace. Absolutely a must read. Website
Deepak Chopra; He writes about a book a month. I enjoy his writing because he is an MD, is very schooled and intelligent… but still tries to get me to believe I am one with a flower. Also, it’s worth getting one of his audio books just to hear him say “baby”. Website
Earnest Holmes; You may not be ready to tackle his big book, The Science of Mind, but any of his many smaller books are extremely enlightening and uplifting.Website
Brian Weiss; Also an MD who worked backwards into enlightenment. He had a very successful practice, was very pragmatic and analytical when incomprehensible things began happening. You can’t read one of his books without having a change or shift in your belief systems. Website
Sanaya Roman; Read any of her books which you might have an interest. Then in a year or so read it again and you will be reading it for the first time. The author to read for actually living and drawing to you what you truly love. Website
Nanci Danison; She had a near death experience with almost total recall and goes into great detail as to the purpose of our existence. Very, very good information.
Shakti Gawain; Very good nuts and bolts advice on living a spiritual life. Also very good meditation techniques which are almost imperative to learn.Website
Gary Schwartz; Another MD. Actually looks at spirituality from a scientific perspective. If you need proof, read any of his work. Website
Sonia Choquette; If you are having unexplained paranormal type things happen which you don’t understand, she does a very good job of recounting her life of psychic abilities in a way that is very readable and enjoyable. Website
Doreen Virtue; If you are into angels, she is a great source. Also does a good job of explaining chakras and cutting etheric attachments.Website
Eric Pearl; I related to his experience with healing modalities and the frustrations with attempting to figure out what the heck was going on. This is also the only book I've read that relates with my hands moving by themselves while healing. Website
Neale Donald Walsch; Conversations with God. Read most of the above books first, but definitely read this book. I have read this book three or four times. I can't not read it. I miss it when it's gone. Yes... it's quite a book.
Jan Gault; In this area I may be a bit biased - since she is my aunt... but she has been writing books for years on your wealth, your beliefs, your life, and I would recommend any of your books.Website
