Being in and around fitness and health since about fourteen I know what I enjoy the most... YOGA.
I started in Martial Arts at 14 and did that for about four years. From Martial Arts I began doing Yoga and other fitness type classes. Already being a certified Martial Arts instructor moved me easily into getting certified to teach Yoga. Now I have been teaching Yoga for about 7 years and it is a major force in my life.
Having two kids, a husband, and a home to take care of only strengthen my desire to practice and teach yoga. It has deeply enriched my life. I hope the love and peace yoga has brought me spills into my student's lives.

What is Yoga?
- Yoga is a series of poses and stretches that improve strength and flexibility.
- On a deeper level yoga can help clear the mind and improve your relationship with your body.
- Yoga has no religious implications.
Why should I do it?(Besides strength, flexibility, and a clear mind)
- Spinal alignment
- Decrease blood pressure
- Improve joint function
- Tone and define muscles
- Studies have shown yoga can decrease depression and improve overall happiness
- Increase peace and serenity
- Align the body’s energy patterns
- Massage internal organs helping to flush toxins
- Etc
Yoga Terms:
Asana: Seated or standing poses that we hold in class-
Vinyasa: Flowing from one asana to another
Hatha Yoga:The style of yoga we do. Utilizing the entire body,using breathing techniques, and concentration
Pranayama: Breathing techniques- - -
What do I need to bring?
A bottle of water
A yoga mat (if you have one) I have extras
Wear comfortable clothing - you don't need shoes or socks
How Much Is It?
$40.00 a month or $6.00 a class
SCHEDULE
Monday: 9:30 am / 6:00 pm
Wednesday: 9:30 am / 7:00 pm
Friday: 9:30 am
Just walk in the front door and go straight up the stairs
